We had plenty of fun and games during the week of September 8-12th! Scroll down to see photos!
CALofJC kicked off Assisted Living Week with a Wild West Day! We had soup beans, fried potatoes, corn and cornbread for lunch, fed the pigs and round up sheep!
Special Thanks to Broad River Therapy for donating bandanas for all the residents and Gentiva Hospice for hosting Wild West Trivia and music.

On day two of Assisted Living Week, we went back to the 50's! Johnny Cash made an appearance, we played Singo with Broad River Therapy, and had Root Beer Floats provided by Caris Hospice!
For lunch, we had open-face meatloaf sandwiches, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and pineapple upside down cake!

Today, CALofJC went on a Safari Adventure, played games with Avenues Homecare, listened to some wonderful music and watched The Jungle Book! For lunch, they had Buffalo Burgers, Beetle Wings, Turtle Food and a Dirt Cup!

Today, the residents enjoyed getting clues to solve “The Mystery of Who Took the Muffins”.
Special thanks to Cornerstone Caregiving for providing delicious muffins!
We also took time to remember 911, shared memories of this day 24 years ago and prayed for our Nation.

Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines! CALofJC 500 was full speed on Friday as we wrapped up National Assisted Living Week at CALofJC! We crowned the winners of our races and fun games outside!
For lunch, we had the traditional favorite race foods hot dogs, nachos with cheese and cheese sticks.
