Read what many of our Residents have said about living at Christian Assisted of Living.
I tell everyone I know how wonderful the Staff at Christian Assisted Living of Johnson City is to my mother. Mom enjoys being able to have therapy onsite and all of the activities. Everything is so nice and clean and Mom thinks of it as Home.

I am 75 years old and have been a resident at Christian Assisted Living (formerly Cornerstone) since the end of February 2019.
Prior to that, I spent 6 months (a month at JCMC) at NHC in skilled nursing and rehab as the result of a life saving surgery of which the good Lord decided it wasn’t my time. I had to learn how to do daily routines all over again. I got to the point where I didn’t need rehab anymore.
I found an ad in the paper advertising Christian Assisted Living. My case worker got me approved and I have been here since. I love having my own room and privacy.
I am grateful for the staff, who during our Covid Lockdown for a year, made it as enjoyable as possible for us. Happy to say NO Covid at our facility. Everything I had previous to my illness is gone - condo, car, etc. I have no family here…so this is my home now. Feeling very blessed!

I am 91 years old and a resident of Christian Assisted Living (formerly Cornerstone Village) since March 2019.
I have no complaints about living here. It meets all my needs. All the staff and caregivers have been good to me. I had previously checked out several others, but I am glad I chose this one.

I have been at Christian Assisted Living for almost one year. I’ve enjoyed being here and have made many new friends. At this stage of my life, it is so peaceful and freeing to be relieved of the responsibilities of taking care of a house and living on my own. I can look forward to the future knowing there is help if I need it.

My move from North Carolina came abruptly just when facilities were beginning to close because of Covid. A fractured and dislocated shoulder made rehab necessary. I needed to be close to my son who lives in Kingsport.
I was accepted for rehab at what was then Cornerstone Village North on March 30, 2020 and moved here to Assisted Living at what was then Cornerstone Village South on July 1, 2020.
Since I could no longer live alone, this facility was the very best place for me. This has truly become my home. I am well cared for and treated with respect by everyone who works in any capacity here.
Activities are available for the varied interests of the residents. BINGO does seem to be the favorite. I have made good friends and Christian Assisted Living of Johnson City feels like community and family.
