Please join us in welcoming Shelley Bailey as the new Executive Director at Christian Assisted Living of Johnson City. Shelley's first day at CALofJC was June 20, 2024.
Shelley joins CALofJC from a long and successful career in the durable medical equipment industry serving as COO of Health & Homecare of Erwin. For the last 18 years, She has worked to ensure individuals requiring medical equipment were served timely and professionally. A recent customer testimonial definitely shows the quality of care and service that Shelley strives to provide.
“I am writing to publicly thank Mrs. Shelley Bailey for truly showing what quality customer care and service is all about. I have suffered with Sleep Apnea for many years and have been using a machine supplied and maintained by Health and Homecare to help me breathe and sleep better. My wife and I recently vacationed in Lincoln, Nebraska, when my machine showed signs of trouble. I called to advise Shelley of my predicament. Instead of being asked to wait until we returned, no, she promised to overnight a new replacement machine. At 3pm, they got it to the post office, and I picked it up the next afternoon at our motel. The promised customer service is still alive! Thank you and God Bless you of Health and Homecare! You’re worth your weight in gold!”
She is also very familiar with most insurance plans, billing and collections. She has led her team in receiving accreditation by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), a leader in the home medical equipment industry.
Personally, Shelley has been happily married for 32 years, is the mother to 3 adult children and Nana to 6 grandchildren. Shelley can often be seen at school and sporting events supporting her family. Shelley and her family attend NorthRidge Community Church in Erwin.
