Through strengthening, balance, and gait training activities, Mrs. Lowe can confidently walk through the facility and courtyard safely with her rollator. Mrs. Lowe stated, “the therapy team has helped me get stronger and feel safer when walking.”

Congratulations Mr. LG Bond for the Lifetime Achievement as a member of the 2025 Who's Who in Tennessee Long-Term Care Award.

Mr. L.G. Bond, a remarkable 98-year-old resident, for the prestigious recognition of 'Best Among Who's Who.' Mr. Bond's life is a testament to unwavering dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.

Born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, Mr. Bond grew up amidst the rolling fields of cotton and cattle farms as which farmed these lands. His early years on the farm instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep connection to the land. When the call to serve his country came, Mr. Bond answered without hesitation, joining the Army during World War II. His service took him to Italy, where he bravely contributed to the war effort.

Upon returning from the war, Mr. Bond settled in Madison, Georgia, where he embarked on a new chapter of his life. He managed a grocery store with unwavering dedication and soon ventured into the world of entrepreneurship by starting his own restoration and antique business. His keen eye for detail and passion for preserving history earned him a sterling reputation in the community.

In 1948, Mr. Bond married the love of his life, Madge, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion. Their marriage spanned an incredible 67 years until Madge's passing in 2017. Their union was blessed with three children, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, each carrying forward the legacy of love and family values that Mr. Bond holds dear.

Mr. Bond's life story is not just a narrative of personal achievements but a testament to the enduring values of hard work, dedication, and community spirit. His contributions to his family, his business, and his community are nothing short of extraordinary.
